The Celebreting Kartini’s day on April 21 2008, certainly has been celebrated to all School in Balikpapan. It’s sure that each school celebrates with different way and uniqueof course, just like SMPN 3 ceremonial.

Staring 6.30 Am early in the morning we could see Students and Teachers of SMPN 3 are entering school with their own charming dresses and interesting style dresses, different from their daily uniform. They are dressing their own traditional dress. With that dresses it express our gratitude and proud to our wealth and different kind of culture which is stand in Indonesia.

Kartini’s Day ceremony that is carried out on Monday at SMPN 3 is having different situation then the other day before. It is because the official ceremony was female teacher.

After the ceremonial of Kartini’s day, the next agenda is Traditional Clothing Couple Contest, every class send their delegation. Further more Teachers also send their delegation to follow the competition.   

May the spirit of the competition for all the active participation can represent SMPN 3’s admiration to all Ibu Kartini’s commendable for being educated woman.
